Grandmothers of the Light working with the families and children of female inmates and the homeless children of Greater Palm Spring Area,  now accepting interns and/or volunteers. We are a 501(c)3 and we also do activist work with the poor, homeless, kids and prison inmates and parolees. This is an excellent opportunity for social work majors/criminal justice majors/child services majors. Work is both fun and interesting, meet savvy people who are making a difference and create your own social programs.
